Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Beautiful weather again today. There was a few clouds in the morning but cleared up as the day went on. The temperatures were around 70 today. Winds were calm from the North-West this morning turning to the South-East in the afternoon.

From the beach today there was some really good fishing. In Buxton there was some big bluefish at the point as well as some flounder, and  speckled trout. There was also some black drum and puppy drum biting. Here in Frisco there was puppy drum and bluefish biting. Hatteras beach had speckled trout, flounder, puppy drum and some small bluefish.

No inshore or offshore report for today.

Ramp 44 is now opened! There is still a few inches of water but it is passable. It is recommended that you still use Ramp 43 due to a small drop off at the end of the ramp.
