Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had mostly cloudy skies with thunderstorms and rain early. The winds were from the south-west at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 60’s.

Up on the Avon beach sea mullet have been caught.  Around the Buxton beaches bluefish, sea mullet and some blow toads were reported.  Out at Cape Point in Buxton the big red drum were caught this morning.  Over on the Frisco beach sea mullet and blow toads were caught.  Down on the Hatteras beach flounder, sea mullet and blow toads were reported.

No boats fished inshore today.

The offshore boats had a short day due to weather.  They did manage to catch some blackfin tuna and dolphin.
