Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had mostly cloudy skies with some rain showers throughout the morning. The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.
Up on the Avon beach some bluefish were caught. Around the Buxton beaches bluefish, sea mullet and blow toads were reported. Out at Cape Point in Buxton lots of bluefish and sea mullet and couple of big red drum were caught. Over on the Frisco beach sea mullet were reported. Down on the Hatteras beach some flounder, bluefish and sea mullet were caught.
The inshore boats had good puppy drum fishing, along with sea mullet and bluefish in the Pamlico Sound.
The offshore boats caught lots of gaffer dolphin and black fin tuna with many citations. A few wahoo were also caught.
