Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was a nice and cooler.  The temperatures were in the low 80’s with a north-east wind 10-15 mph.

Up on the Avon beach there were sea mullet, pompano and croakers reported.  Around the Buxton beaches sea mullet.  Out at Cape Point in Buxton there were several bluefish, spanish mackerel and sharks caught.  Over on the Frisco beach sea mullet, pompano and spot were reported.

The inshore boats had catches of speckled trout and puppy drum in the Pamlico Sound.  Bluefish and spanish mackerel fishing was good today around Hatteras Inlet.

The offshore boats had good fishing today.  Scattered dolphin and king mackerel.  The wahoo and black fin tuna fishing was really good.  The tilefish action was good today from the bottom.
