Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had sunny skies and a high of 89F. The winds were southwesterly, blowing between 4-12 mph.
Today was a good day to catch some spanish mackerel and bluefish. There were a few other fish caught too. Avon reports some spanish mackerel, small bluefish, croaker and pompano. Buxton had some spanish mackerel, small bluefish, pompano and sea mullet. Frisco had some small bluefish and sea mullet. Hatteras reports small bluefish, small flounder and a few spanish.
The inshore boats bite was a bit scattered today. There were keeper red drum and some releases.
The offshore boats had a good bite of wahoo, with some dolphin and blackfin tuna in the mix. There were 10 sailfish flags flying today, the angler’s enjoyed fighting and releasing them.
