Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Great fishing weather today. The temperatures were in the lower 80’s. Winds were from the North at 5-10 mph.
Off the beach today the fishing was fair. In Avon there was sea-mullet and croaker biting. Off the pier there was sea-mullet, pompano, croaker, and small puppy drum caught. In Buxton there was small pompano, sea-mullet, small bluefish, and spanish mackerel caught. Here in Frisco we had sea-mullet biting. Hatteras beach had small bluefish biting.
Inshore fishing the red drum fishing is still spot on. There was speckled trout biting as well. Near shore wreck fishing there was amberjack caught.
More than a dozen sailfish were released today. The dolphin bite slowed down but the wahoo, black-fin tuna, and yellow-fin tuna were biting great.
