Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had sunny skies and calm winds.  The winds were from the north at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s.

Up on the Avon beach some sea mullet and croakers were caught.  Out at Cape Point “Shelley Island” there were some bluefish and spanish mackerel reported.  Over on the Frisco beach pompano, sea mullet and croakers were caught.

The inshore boats had good puppy drum and citation drum in the Pamlico Sound.  The speckled trout and bluefish catches were good. The spanish mackerel and bluefish action was good up and down the beach nearshore.

The offshore boats had good dolphin catches, a few wahoo and black fin tuna.  2 sailfish and a white marlin were released.
