Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was sunny and hot. The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 90’s.
Up on the Avon beach a few sea mullet and croakers were caught. Out at Cape Point “Shelley Island” there were a bluefish reported. Over on the Frisco beach sea mullet and bluefish were caught.
The inshore boats had good citation red drum and spanish mackerel in the Pamlico Sound. Just off the beach spanish mackerel and bluefish were caught.
The offshore boats had a few dolphin and wahoo catches. A sailfish was released. The trigger fishing was good off the bottom.
