Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

The southwest winds continue today, keeping our temperature just under 80F today.  Those winds though, increase more as the day went on… from 12-16 mph, with some at 22 mph at times.

Avon is reporting sea mullet, bluefish and croaker.  Buxton had some bluefish and sea mullet.  Here in Frisco there were some sea mullet and pompano.  Hatteras had some small flounder and sea mullet.

The inshore boats had catches of cobia, red drum and spanish mackerel.

The offshore boats had excellent catches of dolphin, a few wahoo, and yellowfin tuna.  They also had good catches of blackfin tuna.
