Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

The rain came this morning and hasn’t left us.  It has been even heavy at times.  The winds were out of the south and southeast today around 4-14, with a few higher gusts.  The temperature was 76F.

Avon had reports of bluefish, sea mullet, pompano and  some drum.  Buxton had some spanish mackerel.  Here in Frisco we had a few sea mullet and pompano.  Hatteras had bluefish, pompano and sea mullet.  The sound folks caught some speckled trout and puppy drum.   * Speckled trout were released, you are not allowed to keep them at this time*

The inshore boats that went out the morning had some cobia.

The offshore boats made a quick trip out and came back to the dock with some dolphin and blackfin tuna.
