Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had temperatures in the mid 80’s, felt warmer.  The  winds  were from the southwest at 4-15 mph.

Today was slow overall.  Avon is reporting a few spanish mackerel, bluefish, sea mullet and croaker.  Here in Frisco, north of the ramp there were some nice pompano, citation size.  Hatteras had some bluefish, flounder and pompano.

The inshore boats had catches of spanish mackerel, bluefish and a few keeper drum.

There were a few offshore boats out today.  They had catches of gaffer and bailer dolphin, triggerfish and grouper also.  There was also a sailfish released.
