Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had cloudy skies with some periods of sunshine.  The winds were from the SSE at 6 mph, with gusts up to 11 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

Fishing today was much better from the beaches. Avon and Buxton beaches had bluefish, sea mullet and croakers caught.  In Frisco and Hatteras bluefish, pompano and sea mullet were reported.

Inshore boats went out today and caught Bluefish, sea mullet, cobia and slot drum.

The offshore boats had good wahoo, scattered mahi and a bonus of blackfin with a sail release.
