Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today started as a rain event, but cleared up by noon so folks could enjoy the rest of the day. We had temperatures in the mid 80’s and winds out of the southwest at 7-10 mph.
The fishing is slowly picking up. Avon had some spot, bluefish and croaker. Buxton had some sea mullet. Frisco had some pompano and sea mullet yesterday, didn’t hear anything today yet.
The inshore boats did not make it out today.
Some offshore boats did make it out today. They had good catches of wahoo, yellowfin tuna and triggerfish.
