Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Everyone is certainly enjoying this beautiful weather we are having this Labor Day Weekend!? We had temperatures in the mid 80’s and winds out of the east and southeast at 7-9 mph.

Spanish mackerel and bluefish are being caught off Avon Pier.  In Buxton, they are catching bluefish and pompano.  Here in Frisco we have had one citation weighed in and a few smaller ones.  There’s been a few sea mullet scattered as well.  Hatteras had bluefish and spanish mackerel.

The inshore boats had great catches of bluefish and red drum.

The offshore boats had great catches of dolphin along with some triggerfish and snapper.
