Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island

It turned out to be a beautiful day on Hatteras Island.  We had temperatures in the low 60’s and the winds were light and variable.

Here in Frisco we had bluefish again today.  Down in Hatteras there were pompano and some drum.  On the sound side in Hatteras there were some keeper drum, short flounder and a few speckled trout.  The sea mullet, pompano, graytrout and spot were caught on the northern beaches.  The Point had some bluefish, seamullet and black drum and drum.

The inshore boats had catches of red drum, speckled trout and nice size bluefish.

The offshore boats had catches of dolphin, wahoo and blackfin tuna.  There was a sailfish released today as well.
