Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was another beautiful day across the island.  We had temperatures in the low 70’s. Winds were out of the Southwest around 9 mph in the morning picking up to around 20 in the afternoon with gusts up to 30 mph. Low tide was at 6:44 pm and high tide will be at 1:21 am Friday.
At the point they have been catching citation Red drum, big Black drum, puppy’s and bluefish. South beach has had Sea Mullet, Blowtoads, Pompano, Whiting and reports of a few small Flounder. North beach up near Avon and ramp 38 has been having catches of Sea Mullet. Most of these fish have been caught on Mullet and shrimp
The inshore boats had catches of bluefish and citation drum in the inlet as well as some Spanish in the ocean.
The offshore boats had excellent catches of Blackfin Tuna and dolphin along with scattered catches of Wahoo and Yellowfin. One boat also had a Sailfish release.
