Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had strong rain on and off from around late morning to early afternoon. Winds were blowing 20-25mph SSW, gusting to 40mph. The remained of the squall is going to finish pushing tonight and be gone by the morning.
High tide was at 2:00pm and low tide will be at 7:46pm. Sea temperature off the point is 68F.
At ramp 44 they have been catching Bluefish. At the point there were citation Reds caught this morning then a load of sharks the rest of the day with a few scattered drum. Due to the weather it was a hard time to fish the beach today.
The inshore boats managed to make it out and had catches of bluefish and Spanish Mackerel in the sound.
The offshore fleet stayed at the dock today due to weather
