Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was bright and sunny with temperatures in the high 70s. The winds were 5-10 mph from the SSW. Water temperature on the island is 70F.
High tide was a 5:47 pm and low tide will be at 12:27 am tomorrow morning.
At the point there was a Cobia being caught off of cut Bunker and Blues like crazy up to 35” being caught off of lures. There have been a few citation Pompano caught as well. Off of Frisco beach there were 2 King Mackerel between 28″-30″ caught.
The inshore boats had good top water catches of Spanish Mackerel, Drum, and Cobia off of lures.
The offshore fleet had: Yellowfin Tuna, Triggerfish, Wahoo, Vermilion Snapper, and gaffer Mahi, multiple citation Blackfin Tuna and a Sailfish release out of Teach’s lair.
