Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was hot and humid. We had temperatures right at 80F.  The winds were out of the northwest this morning around 10 mph, switching to the northeast this evening.

Avon Pier is reporting bluefish, sea mullet and pompano.  Avon beach is reporting sea mullet and pompano. Buxton and Frisco is reporting sea mullet.  Hatteras is reporting bluefish.

Inshore boats had catches of: Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout and Bluefish.

The offshore boats had good gaffer dolphin catches, blackfin tuna and wahoo.  Those that bottomfished caught triggerfish, tilefish and grouper.
