Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was another hot and relatively humid day.  We had temperatures nearing the 90º mark and winds out of the east-southeast and the east-northeast around 10 mph.

Avon Pier and beach is reporting some pompano, sea mullet and spanish mackerel.  Buxton had some spanish mackerel and sea mullet as well.  Frisco also had catches of sea mullet.  Hatteras is catching sea mullet and bluefish.

The inshore boats had good catches of speckled trout.

The offshore fleet caught mahi, wahoo, king mackerel, tilefish, amberjack, sea bass and grouper.
