Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

It was a beautiful day across Hatteras Island. It was partly cloudy, with temperatures in the upper 60’s. Winds were 9-15mph from the NE.

Over the past few days there have been Sea Mullet, Red Drum, Bluefish, and Speckled Trout caught off the beaches.

The inshore boats stayed at the dock.

One offshore boat went out today and caught Wahoo, Blackfin, and Mahi.

Check out today’s featured product:

Daiwa CFLT2500 Crossfire LT Spinning RL, 1BB+1RB 5.3 : 1

The Crossfire LT cuts as much as 20 percent of the reel weight from the old Crossfire design. The solid ABS Aluminum Spool resists flexing and distorting and is deep enough to hold plenty of line yardage. The heart of the reel is the cold forged and precision milled Digigears. The state of the art manufacturing process optimizies the meshing between the main and pinion gears. Daiwa’s innovative proprietary grease makes the Advanced Tournament Drag System (ATD) one of the smoothest on the market. The fit and finish is complete with a smart Machined Aluminum Handle that optimizes grip and provides positive torque to the main gear. With reel sizes ranging from 1000 to 5000 the new CROSSFIRE LT line is comfortable in freshwater or light saltwater.
