Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Sunny skies today with a High of 79F, winds out of the NE at 22mph made it a little rough of a day for fishing off the beaches. Looks like we are going to see the winds die down a bit Wednesday afternoon into Thursday.

Red Drum reported in the sound from Buxton down to the inlet in Hatteras. Most have been caught on finger sized Mullet. Speckled Trout bite has slowed a bit but we still had reports of some taken sound side in Buxton.

No offshore report today. Winds kept the fleet at the dock.

The inshore boats that did go out today did well with Red Drum and lots of Bluefish.
