Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Beautiful day here on the island.! High of 82F with winds out of the East at 13mph.

Bluefish bite has been on today from the point to Hatteras. Finger Mullet being the bait of choice. Some slot size Red Drum caught north of the point. Drum bite has been good in the sound. We have plenty of fresh finger Mullet here at the shop so come stock up!!

Only a couple of boats went offshore today out of Hatteras. Those who did had a slow day with a few Dolphin, Yellowfin Tuna and Wahoo. Nearshore boats trolled for Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish

Inshore boats did well with Red Drum.
