Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Another good weather day here on the island. Great day to be out fishing or just enjoying the beaches. High for today was 79F with winds out of the SE at mph. Higher winds and rain pushing in tonight out of the South and sticking around most of the day tomorrow.

Buxton had puppy Drum and Spanish Mackerel at the point this morning and puppy Drum this evening. Here in Frisco it was another good day of mixed bag fishing with reports coming in off the beach of puppy Drum, small Pompano and Sea Mullet.

Sea Mullet and small Pompano in Hatteras at ramp 55 this morning.

Good Speckled Trout bite in the sound.

Offshore boats out of Hatteras today did very well with Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo and a few Dolphin.

The inshore boats brought back limits of Speckled Trout, Red Drum and Bluefish.
