Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
We apologize for the fishing report absence the past couple of days. Truth is there hasn’t been a lot caught with this wind. High temperature for today was 72F with winds out of the North at 28mph (at the time of writing this report). Looks like these N/NE winds are going to stick around until early Sunday am. At that point they will switch to the SE but will bring some rain with them.
Cooler temperatures rolling in next week should make for some good Drum fishing here on the island.
The sound has been way to windy to get out and fish. Unless you are a kite-boarder, it’s been ugly.
The offshore boats out of Hatteras have been tied to the dock the past couple of days. They are hoping to get back at it Sunday.
A few brave inshore boats ventured out yesterday with good Red Drum catches.
