Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

We had a pleasant day weather wise. Reached an afternoon high temperature of 63F with nothing but warm sunshine. Right now we have winds out of the South at 15mph. Looks like winds are picking up a bit tomorrow bringing in some rain showers late morning and afternoon.

North beaches were catching Sea Mullet and Blowtoads.

Few large Sand Tiger sharks were caught off of ramp 48 today.

Mainly Blowtoads off of 49

No reports from Hatteras.

The offshore boats out of Hatteras went out today and brought back Yellowfin Tuna, Dolphin, Blackfin Tuna and Albacore.

Inshore boats did well with puppy Drum again.

All fish must be caught anywhere from Oregon Inlet to Hatteras. Fish can be caught in the sound or the ocean. You can fish from the shore or kayak.
