Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island

Humid with a high temperature of 82F here in Frisco today. Going to be around the same temps tomorrow with a chance of showers all day. Winds are out of the SW right now at 20mph. Winds are not going to shift out of the SW until Saturday it looks.

Very quiet day on the surf for most of the island. Still some luck in the sound with Speckled Trout.

Offshore boats out of Hatteras had a decent day with Dolphin, some Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna.

Bite Me released a White Marlin and a Sailfish.

Inshore boats are still bringing in Speckled Trout and some puppy Drum.

GOT-CHA G132GHD 100 Series Plug, 3″, 1 oz, Sz 2 & 4 Hook, Red White Yellow Flash with Dots/Gold Hook

This lure is excellent for bluefish, Spanish mackerel, trout, and other fish that feed on small bait fish. When fishing from piers and bridges, reel in using short, sharp jerks of the rod to produce a deadly swimming action. The Got-Cha® lure is also a favorite of boat fishermen jigging for trout and bluefish. Plastic Body 1 oz. #2 Tail Hook #4 Belly Hook 3 Long. “GH” = GOLD HOOKS, “RH” = RED HOOKS.
