Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Sunny and a bit windy today with a high temp of 84F. Tropical Storm watch in effect for the island. Winds and rain through Monday.

Winds played a big part in the fishing activities for the day.

Only thing I saw today were some nice Bluefish caught earlier this morning off of ramp 55 in Hatteras.

No offshore reports today due to the wind.

Some inshore boats went out and found Red Drum and some Speckled Trout

Widespread, a boat out of Oregon Inlet won the largest Marlin category in this years Big Rock Tournament. Congratulations!

Momoi’s Hi-Catch Monofilament Lineis an extremely high quality monofilament produced using strict quality controls. It exhibits very low memory characteristics and is very soft and flexible while maintaining a high tensile strength to diameter ratio. Smaller diameter lines with high tensile strength result in larger reel capacity, more abrasion resistance and superior knot strength. Hi-Catch provides all these necessary tools when your fighting a hard charging game fish.
