Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Well, the rain stopped long enough for everyone to come out of their hiding places and enjoy the day! Freaky weather here, but that’s Hatteras Island for you. We had a high temperature today of 77F. Showers have picked back up tonight and we have a chance of showers throughout the day tomorrow as well. Winds are out of the NE currently at 13mph.

Reports of Pompano and Sea Mullet being caught in Avon.

Sharks and some Spanish Mackerel earlier in the day at the POINT. Sure glad it has opened back up for us!

Pompano, Sea Mullet and some small Flounder caught here in Frisco off of ramp 49 today.

No offshore report out of Hatteras today. The fleet hopes to get out tomorrow.

Inshore boats had a good day with Red Drum and Speckled Trout.
