Hatteras Island Fishing Report

On and off weather today, scattered showers throughout. Our high temperature reached a muggy 81F. Chance of thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow.

Rough conditions made for a slow day off the surf. Some puppy Drum and Blues were caught at the point.

Only a few offshore boats made it out today. Those that did caught Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, a few Dolphin and some Yellowfin Tuna. Tuna Duck released a Sailfish.

Inshore boats were catching Speckled Trout, Red Drum, Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel.
