Hatteras Island Fishing Report

It’s Saturday once again. The beginning of another week of new and returning vacationers. Hope everyone visiting enjoyed the weather we had today. Our high temperature was 73F. We have winds out of the NW right now at 8mph.

Rodanthe pier- some larger Red Drum this morning.

Surf fishing on the island was truthfully slow today as far as we heard. Some Sea Mullet were to be found up and down the island.

Still had some Speckled Trout caught in the sound as well.

The offshore boats out of Hatteras had a good day catching some King Mackerel, Dolphin, Wahoo and a few Blackfin Tuna.

Hatteras Blue released a Sailfish

Inshore boats did well with Bluefish.
