Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Temperature was up today, sun shining and the fish have made somewhat of a return. Today’s high temperature was 68F here in Frisco. Overcast tomorrow for most of the day with showers moving in late in the evening. Still should be a decent day to fish.

Frisco pier- puppy Drum in the am.

Avon beaches reported small Bluefish and Sea Mullet today.

Slot Drum and Citation size caught at the point earlier.

Puppy Drum and Sea Mullet of decent size here in Frisco off of ramps 48 and 49.

Saw some puppy Drum caught in Hatteras off of ramp 55 as well.

Offshore boats finally made their way out today and had a great day catching King Mackerel, Wahoo, Dolphin and Blackfin Tuna.

Inshore boats had fun with a lot of Red Drum.
