Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Today was a bit overcast, high got up to 75. Winds were calmer today at 7-9mph and are gonna pick up a little this evening towards 15 mph out of the South. Gusts will get up to 20mph around 11pm.

Still a slower day for surf fishing but we heard of a few Sea Mullet being caught. We also had a citation Pompano come into the shop.

Report from the sound included Speckled Trout and Red Drum.

Inshore boats brought back Spanish Mackerel, Red Drum, and Speckled Trout. There was also report of one Bluefish caught.

Offshore boats killed it today. They brought back more Dolphin, Wahoo, and Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna. There was one release of a Blue Marlin.
