The high got up to almost 90 today. We had some nice winds here and there but when it wasn’t breezy you could sure feel the heat. Winds have been light to moderate today, ranging from 3-15mph. Currently it’s blowing about 8mph out of the NNE with gusts up to 17mph. Thankfully nothing like what we got last night.
Catches in the sound included Bluefish and Speckled Trout.
Report from the surf included Pompano, Red Drum, and Sea Mullet.
Not many offshore boats went out today but those that did brought back some Dolphin, Wahoo, and bottomfish.
The boats closer to the shore caught Bluefish, Spanish and King Mackerel, and Albacore.
Inshore boats brought in Red Drum, Speckled Trout, and Cobia.
