Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Today had a high of 84. It was a nice day into the evening before the showers started. Winds were light to moderate and out of the SW/SSW/S for the majority of the day. It switched up again and it’s currently out of the NNW around 5mph with gusts up to 19mph. Looks like the rain has come and gone this go around but it sure was pouring earlier.

No report from the surf or sound came into the shop today.

Offshore boats caught Amberjack, Triggerfish, Wahoo, Dolphin, and Blackfin Tuna.

Inshore boats caught Red Drum, Bluefish, Speckled Trout, and Spanish Mackerels. There were also some Sharks caught.
