Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Highs got up to 86 again. Winds have been moderate for the majority of the day. Currently it’s 80 but feels like 85 with winds out of the WSW around 12mph. Gusts are up to 20mph. Tomorrow’s temps are looking to be higher than today and winds are going to continue to be out of the SW/WSW.

Water temp was between 82 to 84 today.

Surf report includes Bluefish and Croaker.

Sound report includes Red Drum.

Offshore boats stayed in due to the wind.

Inshore boats were still able to go out and caught nice citation and slot Red Drum plus Speckled Trout and Bluefish. There was also an 80″ shark caught today.
