Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Today’s high was 84. Winds have been light to gentle and switching directions a lot. Currently it’s 75, feels like 83, with W winds around 3mph. Tomorrow’s winds look like they’re going to start out of the W then switch to SW. Temps are looking about the same again. Looks like possible on and off showers tomorrow morning.

** The Point is open again. Small closure still on the south beach but the rest of Ramp 44 is open. **

Water temp was between 79 and 82 today.

Surf report includes Sea Mullet, Croaker, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Spot, and Pompano.

Sound report includes Red Drum, Bluefish, Speckled Trout, and Spanish Mackerel.

Inshore boats caught Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, and Speckled Trout.

Offshore boats caught Dolphin, Blackfin Tuna, and Wahoo. There was also a release of a Sailfish.
