The island is looking at some interesting weather due to Hurricanes Franklin and Idalia, be sure to keep an eye on the forecast. Here’s what we know so far:

- Ocean over wash on Hwy 12 from north of Cross of Honor way to the old S curves in Rodanthe
- Cape Point is impassable at high tide
