Apologies for the lack of fishing reports over the last week. I felt like we all had bigger fish to fry during the weather events, road conditions, and everything else.
Tomorrow morning at 7am highway 12 will open to visitors. While the road will be open to both northbound and southbound traffic, there will still be a section of one lane only traffic at Pea Island. Please be aware it may take several turns of the flagger before you will get past. The flagger light is turning green for 30 seconds then red for 11 minutes to allow time for the low speed limit (10mph) and the potential to stop for workers.
Today was warmer. The high was 82 while the low was 66 with light to gentle winds. Gusts up to 10mph. Currently it’s 75, feels like 78, with ESE winds around 6mph. Tomorrow should be warmer with a predicted high of 84. Winds will continue at similar speeds.
