Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures. The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s.
Up on the Avon beach sea mullet, spot and bluefish were caught. Around the Buxton beaches and Out at Cape Point some big bluefish were caught. On the Frisco beach today good sea mullet catches, some flounder and bluefish were caught. Down on the Hatteras beach bluefish and puppy drum were reported.
Offshore boats had good dolphin fishing, some nice blackfin and yellowfin tuna, a couple of wahoo. The bottom bite was good too. Vermillion snapper, trigger fish and tilefish were reported. A blue marlin and hatchet marlin were released.
The inshore boats caught spanish mackerel, bluefish and a few puppy drum.
