Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:
The Weather in Frisco was sunny and hot again today. We had south-east winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s. Today the fishing was pretty good. On the Buxton beach the pompano and bluefish were biting well. Some bluefish were caught on lures. The Frisco beach had sea mullet and some croaker. The inshore boats caught lots of spanish mackerel and a good amount of speckled trout. The offshore boats had good dolphin fishing and a few blackfin tuna and wahoo. The bottom was slower today with some vermilion sanppers caught. One sailfish was released and other white and blue marlin were hooked up or spotted. Below is a nice shot of the sailfish released by the “Sea Creature” charter boat today.
