Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was just as nice as yesterday. The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s.
Up on the Avon beach real good sea mullet and blow toad action was reported. Around the Buxton beach a few big bluefish, sea mullet, puppy drum and blow toads were caught. Over on the Frisco beach a few big bluefish, puppy drum, sea mullet and blow toads were reported. Down on the Hatteras beach big bluefish, sea mullet, puppy drum and blow toads were reported. Pictured here is Isaac Newton of Western MD with a nice 36 in bluefish caught down on the Hatteras beach today using tuna belly.
The inshore boats had lots of puppy drum action, big bluefish catches and big red drum in and around Hatteras Inlet.
The offshore boats had excellent catches of blackfin tuna, a few wahoo and a few dolphin today. The bottom fishing was good with sea bass and amberjack caught.
