Well. It actually happened and I’d say that was more snow than anyone thought was going to fall. The real feel at times was in the teens and in some places further north it was in the single digits. Today’s high was 30 while the low was 28 with light to moderate winds. Gusts up to 49mph. Currently it’s 30, feels like 20, with N winds around 10mph. Gusts around 24mph. Tomorrow winds should be back to light to gentle speeds. Temps will be slightly warmer but the real feel will likely be lower. NCDOT will continue to brine and salt the roads in addition to plowing the snow and ice but it is advised to not travel if at all possible for the next couple of days.

Definitely getting chilly out there. Today’s high was 37 while the low was 30 with light to gentle winds. Gusts up to 32mph. Currently it’s 30, feels like 23, with NE winds around 4mph. Tomorrow evening and into Wednesday morning winds will be increasing. Temps tomorrow will be about the same as today’s but wind chill will make it feel colder. The latest winter storm update said we could see 4-6” of snow. Most people are thinking “I’ll believe it when I see it,” and some people are crossing their fingers and toes hoping for it. Either way, hopefully the roads and bridges will remain safe for travel. NCDOT was out working today and will continue working tomorrow to spread brine on bridges and major roadways in preparation of this winter weather event.

Frisco Rod & Gun 3Dogs Childrens Long Sleeve Tee

Frisco Rod & Gun Child’s Long Sleeve Tee with 3 Dogs Print in Toddler, and Youth sizes.

** Note: Due to popular demand, Sizes 6M thru Small will now come with the print on the front instead of the back.

Frisco Rod & Gun 3 Dogs Print

The Frisco Rod and Gun family has had Chesapeake Bay Retrievers as their family and shop dogs for over 40 years now. We have featured Thunder, Rip, Gen, and Sailor on different store tee shirts and they have been the most popular of the designs we have had. Chesapeake Bay Retrievers have been a breed that has proven their worth in the waters around Cape Hatteras, often mascots of the United States Lifesaving Station crews and historically hardy duck hunting partners. Not only that, they have greeted and visited with our customers through the decades!

We would like to introduce our newest generation of Chesapeakes to you on our new design. Taffy with her deadgrass color coat is on the top and litter mates Sadie and Captain are side by side underneath with their dark brown coats. Born and bred in Eastern North Carolina, these three can be found enjoying their Hatteras Island lifestyle of duck hunting, playing on the beach, or going for boat rides in the Pamlico Sound. You may even catch them here hard at work in the store!

Our three dogs join other icons of Hatteras Island on this print. Our famed Cape Hatteras Lighthouse that watches over all of us, the renowned gamefish of the surf, the Red Drum, the exciting Gulf Stream catch, the Blue Marlin and a favorite of the duck hunters, the Pintail are all here.  Come to Frisco Rod and Gun Outfitters to find what you need to make your own memories and grab a Three Dogs tee or sweatshirt to remind you of your visit with us!
