First official day of Winter today and we had a high temperature of 63F with rain throughout. Looks like the rain will taper off tomorrow afternoon. Little cooler tomorrow. We have winds out of the NE currently at 9mph.

Avon beaches reported Sea Mullet and Dogsharks today. Other than that, it’s been quiet.

Only offshore reports we’ve seen have been from Oregon Inlet with plenty of nice size Tuna being caught up there.

We had a sunny day here today with a high temperature of 72F. Winds have picked up throughout the day and we are at 21mph out of the SW currently. Front coming through tomorrow will bring us rain and higher winds.

The change in wind direction and speed has made for a slow day off of the surf. As of this evening I haven’t seen or heard of anything caught. That doesn’t mean there wasn’t. but it was quiet at the shop today.

Looks like Monday and Tuesday we will see the winds calming down a bit. Hopefully the fish will return.

Half way through the week and we had a great weather day. Our high temp hit 66F. We have winds out of the SE at 6mph right now. Another pretty day in tap for tomorrow as well.

Lots of Speckled Trout off the surf from Buxton to Hatteras today. A few bar sharks at the point earlier.
