December 13, 2021
Pretty December day here in Frisco. Our high temperature topped off at 55F. Currently we have winds out of the West around 8mph. Another beautiful day on tap for tomorrow as well. Looking at a high near 60.

Slow day off the surf. Our Luke Beard hauled in a nice Sandbar shark at the point this afternoon. There were some Speckled Trout caught in the surf near Hatteras as well.

Saw one or 2 boats go offshore today out of Hatteras. Blackfin Tuna were the catch of the day.

Good evening and happy Saturday! We had a high temperature of 70F here on the island. Bit of a southwesterly wind going on currently at 22mph. Those winds are going to stick around with us most of the day tomorrow as well.

Small mixed bag of Sea Mullet and Black Drum from Avon today. Speckled Trout and Sea Mullet in Buxton as well.

Hope everyone enjoyed their day here on the island. We have a little rain moving in that’s going to stick around. Today’s high temperature maxed out at 70F. Winds are out of the South tonight around 21mph.

Spotty reports today. Some Speckled Trout around the jetties in Buxton. Sea Mullet up in Avon.

Nothing to report for the southern beaches tonight.

December 9, 2021
Heading into the weekend we’re looking at some warmer temperatures. Highs should be hovering around 70F both days. Today was quite a bit cooler with 50F being our high this afternoon. Tonight we have winds out of the North at 6mph.

Slow day off the surf today. Saw some scattered Sea Mullet caught.

Couple of boats headed offshore today and brought back a few Blackfin Tuna and a couple King Mackerel.

Hatteras Island Fishing Report
December 7, 2021
High temperature for today was 55F. Much needed rain moving in for most of the day tomorrow. High temp will be close to 60F. Winds are out of the North this evening around 14mph.

Slow day off the surf today. Have not heard or seen a thing caught. Won’t be much better tomorrow with the rain coming through.
