Here we are at the day before the big Turkey Day. Fall temperatures have finally caught up to us. Our high temperature for the day was 43F. Winds are out of the NW around 6mph. Looks like we are going to have a beautiful day ahead of us tomorrow.

Only thing to report tonight was a nice Black Drum caught off of ramp 55 in Hatteras, otherwise it’s been a quiet day.

Sunny throughout the day with a high temperature of 72F. Winds are out of the South this evening at around 12mph. Looks like some wet weather headed our way tomorrow afternoon followed by high winds and a Gale Warning from tomorrow night in to Tuesday am.

Rodanthe pier- few nice puppy Drum

Buxton reported Sea Mullet, small Bluefish and a few puppy Drum.

We had citation sized Sea Mullet and one really nice citation Pompano weighed in at the shop today. All were caught here in Frisco.

A few of the big boats headed out from Hatteras today and were rewarded with limits of King Mackerel, some Amberjacks and African Pompano.

One inshore boat went out and caught keeper Red Drum.

Sunny and chilly today with a high temperature of 61F. Looks like winds are out of the NE at 10mph this evening. Bit warmer tomorrow with a SLIGHT chance of rain showers, but overall it looks like an ok day ahead.

Avon reported Sea Mullet and puppy Drum being caught today.

Buxton reported lots of puppy Drum at multiple spots. Also Black Drum, small Pompano and some Sea Mullet.

Quiet at this end of the island.

Only one inshore boat made it out today from Hatteras and had a great day with Red Drum.

Very slow day on the surf today. Mixed bag of small Blues and Sea Mullet on most beaches.
