Today we had a high temperature of 70F, however the high winds made it feel a bit cooler. Winds right now are out of the NW at 30mph. We have a Beach Hazard Statement from Wednesday at 8am through Wednesday evening for dangerous rip currents. Second is a Gale Warning until Wednesday at 6am.
Constant winds made for an uneventful day off of the surf. Those few that stuck it out found some Sea Mullet and a puppy Drum or two up in Avon.
No boats went offshore today.
One boat was brave enough to go out on the sound and had a good day with puppy Drum and Speckled Trout.
