• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    We had another beautiful day here in Frisco. Our high temperature this afternoon was 88F with winds out of the SW at 19mph. Chance of showers and thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon.

    As far as surf fishing, it was a little choppy here off of ramps 48 and 49 so not much to report here.

    Avon reporting Pompano, some Bluefish, sharks and Croaker.

    Sea Mullet in Buxton again today.

    Speckled Trout and puppy Drum in the sound.

    Offshore out of Hatteras was good today with the big boats catching Dolphin, Grouper, B-liners and Snapper.

    Blue Marlin, White Marlin and a Sailfish were all released today as well

    Inshore- Drum and Speckled Trout.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Hope everyone enjoyed their week here on the island.! We rounded out this week with another warm and sunny day. Our high temperature reached 88F with winds out of the SW at 18mph.

    Sea Mullet in Buxton today was all we heard here at the shop. A bit slow again today off of the surf.

    Slow day offshore, boats had to work for it. Few Dolphin, some Spanish Mackerel and Grouper.

    Calypso released a Sailfish.

    Inshore boats had a rough day as well managing some Red Drum and Speckled Trout.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    We had a high temperature of 86F with winds out of the SW at 15mph currently.

    Lots of people out fishing today with some results.

    Avon beaches had Pompano, Sea Mullet and small sharks.

    Pompano and Sea Mullet here in Frisco.

    Rough day for offshore, only a few Dolphin and a couple of Wahoo caught. Bottom fishing produced Tilefish, Triggerfish, B-liners and Grouper.

    Only a few inshore boats were able to find some Speckled Trout and some large Red Drum.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Well, we have made it half way through the week and the weather is gorgeous. We had a high temperature of 86F. Winds are out of the SW this evening at 16mph.

    Surf fishing has finally improved today. We saw a cleaner surf here in Frisco.

    Rodanthe Pier- Croaker, Spot and Sheepshead

    Avon beaches reporting Croaker, Spot, small sharks and a couple Pompano.

    Nice size Pompano here in Frisco and down off ramp 55 in Hatteras as well. Most weighed in just under the 2lb citation size.

    Offshore boats out of Hatteras bought back some Dolphin, Triggerfish, Tilefish and Grouper.

    BITE ME released both a Blue Marlin and a Sailfish..!

    Inshore boats had to work for their catches but managed Speckled Trout, Bluefish, keeper Drum and citation Drum.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Beautiful July day here in Frisco! Beaches were packed with visitors. Hope you all got out and explored. Winds are out of the SW this evening at 16mph. Almost identical day on tap for tomorrow as well.

    Slow day on the surf. Water is a bit dirty and rough here in Frisco.

    Rodanthe Pier- Croakers and Sheepshead

    Still some Sea Mullet off of ramp 55.

    Offshore boats had a good day with Dolphin with lots of Tilefish and Triggerfish.

    Hatteras Fever II released a White Marlin.

    Inshore boats came away with a mixed bag of Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish and Speckled Trout.
