• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    The high for today was 80F with a South wind of 8-12mph.

    Haven’t had many reports off the surf today. There was a report of False Albacore off Cape Point.

    The inshore fleet had catches of Puppy Drum, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, and Bluefish.

    The offshore fleet had bailer Mahi, Albacore, and  Blackfin Tuna. Multiple boats released Sailfish and one had a Blue Marlin release.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    High for today of 72F with sunny skies and wind out of the NE at 9mph. Made for a pleasant day here in Frisco.

    Haven’t had many reports off the surf today. Some Pompano caught here off of ramp 49 and a few puppy Drum caught off of ramp 55 this morning.

    Red Drum of all sizes caught off the Rodanthe Pier today.

    Offshore boats out of Hatteras brought back lots of Blackfin Tuna, some Wahoo, Dolphin and Yellowfin Tuna. There were also several Sailfish caught and released today. .

    The inshore boats caught a good amount of Red Drum and Speckled Trout.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today’s high was 75F, sunny with winds out of the North 13mph. Looks like more of the same conditions for tomorrow.

    Plenty of Bluefish off the point this morning. Very slow day here in Frisco off of ramp 49 with only one puppy Drum reported in.

    Lots of puppy Drum caught on both the Rodanthe Pier and Avon Pier.

    Speckled Trout and puppy Drum in the sound from Buxton to Hatteras.

    The offshore boats out of Hatteras got out today and did very well with Blackfin Tuna and Wahoo. They also had scattered Dolphin and King Mackerel. Bottom fishing produced Triggerfish, Sea Bass and Snappers.

    Two Sailfish were also caught and released.

    Inshore boats caught puppy Drum and Bluefish.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today turned out to be a nice day on the island. High for today was 81F with winds out of the Southwest at 10mph. Nice day for fishing.

    Spanish, Bluefish and puppy Drum at the point today. Bluefish just North of the point. Fair amount of puppy Drum were caught here today off of ramp 49. Puppy Drum were also caught off the surf in Hatteras today.

    Speckled Trout bite is still good in the sound as well.

    Offshore boats out of Hatteras were kept at the docks today due to high winds.

    The inshore boats did very good today with limits of Red Drum, Speckled Trout and Bluefish.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Cloudy and overcast day here with light rain on and off most of the day. High temperature for today was 77F. Winds were out of the South at 22mph. The winds should die down a bit tomorrow.

    Red Drum and Spanish Mackerel are still hanging around at the point. Here in Frisco off of ramp 49 fishing was a bit slow but still some Pompano and Sea Mullet being caught. Puppy Drum off of ramp 55 in Hatteras.

    Still a decent Speckled Trout bite in the sound.

    The offshore fleet out of Hatteras did very good on Blackfin Tuna again today as well as some scattered Wahoo and some Dolphin .

    Inshore boats caught Speckled Trout and Bluefish.
