• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Not a bad November day today here in Frisco. High temperature of 79F again today with winds out of the SE at 17mph, at the time of this posting. Tomorrow afternoon we will see the winds increasing.

    We had one from ramp 44 today with catches of Bluefish, Puppy Drum and Sea Mullet.

    Rodanthe Pier– Sea Mullet, Spot, puppy Drum, Bluefish, Blowtoads and Black Drum.

    Avon Pier– large Red Drum this morning. No afternoon reports.

    Offshore boats that went out from Hatteras today had good results with King Mackerel.

    Inshore boats did well with Red Drum and Sea Mullet.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today brought more beach weather to the island. High for today was 79F with winds out of the East at 13mph. We are looking at some Southeast wind tomorrow, hoping that picks up the bite on the surf a bit.

    Lots of Sea Mullet and some puppy drum off of ramp 38 today reported by one of our customers. Some Sea Mullet here off of ramp 49 in Frisco. Small mixed bag in Hatteras off of ramp 55 today.

    Rodanthe Pier– Sea Mullet

    Avon Pier– Red Drum

    Only a couple of boats went offshore today. They brought back King Mackerel, Wahoo and Triggerfish.

    No inshore reports today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Weather for today was 75F with winds out of the East at 14mph. Looks like more of the same winds and weather for tomorrow as well.

    More Sea Mullet today on all beaches. North of the point there were some Spot, Blowtoads, Flounder and Bluefish caught. Here on 48 and 49 there was a mix bag of small fish. Ramp 55 in Hatteras had a mixed bag of Blowtoads, Flounder and spot. All fish caught there were on the small side as well.

    Rodanthe Pier– no reports as of time of posting

    Avon Pier– more large Red Drum today.

    Offshore boats out of Hatteras did well with citation sized King Mackerel. Their catches were rounded out with some Wahoo, Dolphin and Blackfin Tuna.

    Inshore boats brought back Red Drum, Speckled Trout and Bluefish.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Another beautiful day here on Hatteras Island. High for today was 73F with winds out of the NE at 13mph. Looks like more of the same weather tomorrow. Get out there and fish..!

    We had scattered Sea Mullet up and down the beaches. Reports off of ramp 44 coming in were Bluefish and puppy Drum. Here off of ramp 49 there was a mixed bag today of Flounder(out of season), small Bluefish, small Pompano, Blowtoads and small Spot.

    Rodanthe Pier- no reports as of time of posting

    Avon Pier- large Red Drum again today.

    The offshore boats out of Hatteras today did well with limits of King Mackerel with Dolphin, Yellowfin Tuna and Blackfin Tuna mixed in.

    Inshore boats did well with Red Drum once again and some Grey Trout.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Great day to get out and enjoy the island today.! High temperature of 73F with winds out of the NE at 14mph. Looks like more of the same weather for tomorrow as well.

    Avon reported large Sea Mullet and puppy Drum. Bluefish and puppy Drum at the point today. Here in Frisco we had Sea Mullet and scattered puppy Drum as well. Reports out of Hatteras were scattered puppy Drum and small Speckled Trout.

    Rodanthe Pier- puppy Drum

    Avon Pier- large Red Drum last night but no report for today as of now.

    The offshore boats out of Hatteras hit good weather and did well with King Mackerel and Blackfin Tuna. They also picked up scattered Wahoo and Dolphin.

    Inshore boats caught limits of Speckled Trout and did well with keeper Red Drum.
